What is desiccant?

Desiccant is a hygroscopic substance that induces or sustains a state of dryness.

The desiccant pellets in the tank absorb water and water vapour which then turns

into a gel and is drained through the bottom of the tank.

Replacement desiccant is available in 23kg bags.
